As it stands at the moment many of the risk asset markets…including oil may be ending the week with gains. The current week has seen mixed signals but in general the signals were biased to the supportive side of the equation. Starting with Europe all 17 EU member counties have now passed the ESFS bailout fund …including Slovakia. A step in the right direction but many steps are still required before the EU leadership can actually say they have a long lasting and durable solution to all of the sovereign debt issues in the EU. In addition G20 finance ministers are meeting (ahead of next month’s meeting) in Europe today and are discussing an expansion of the IMF’s lending powers as part of a global G20 agreement to be presented at next month’s meeting. On the negative side S& P downgraded Spain for the third time in three years this morning while Fitch downgraded two major banks and put several others on negative watch. But for today progress is still outweighing the downgrades.
Bioheat is a new concept in energy efficiency and prevention of environmental degradation. Bioheat is a type of heating oil that contains blends of soya bean oil, fats and vegetable oils in a combination that is termed “biodiesel”. Unlike fossil fuels, burning biodiesel is a cleaner, renewable source of fuel. Biofuels are environmentally friendly as the oil burns more cleanly, does not soil the heat exchangers to the same extent as fossil fuels and keeps the equipment free from sludge and other debris. Biofuel is renewable and acts as a good solvent that allows the fuel to burn more cleanly and not impart residues to equipment as readily as fossil fuels. The usage of biodiesel in your boiler or furnace will ensure the longer life of the equipment and help in reducing maintenance costs. The blends of oil and fat that constitute the biofuel are all natural, organic and recyclable and available in the United States. Moreover you can use your existing equipment in order to convert to biofuel.
A new statewide survey of environment issues conducted by the Public Policy Institute of California found more residents favor climate change policy, want to cut greenhouse gas emissions and believe they are already experiencing the effects of global warming.
“This is a clear mandate that people want to move beyond dirty energy,” said David Graham-Caso, Los Angeles Sierra Club spokesman.
Home heating oil prices can be very volatile and anyone who uses this fuel to heat their home will already be aware of this. Not only that, but there will also be fluctuations in the amount individual providers will charge for this product. All heating oil suppliers will up their prices when the cost of heating oil is higher but the amount that they increase it by will vary from supplier to supplier.
